An exhibition by artists who completed a course to boost their career prospects is on show in Wolverhampton.

The collection, which is being displayed at the City Learning Quarter, in Old Hall Street, will feature work by students on the Enter Arts course run by Wolverhampton Council’s Adult Education Service.

The free exhibition, which is on display until February 15, includes illustrations, recycled metalwork, jewellery, mixed media, textiles and even knitted food.

Tutor Moya Lloyd said: “Enter Arts is aimed at artists at various points in their careers, including recent graduates, people looking to return to the business after time away, those aiming to become freelancers or artists simply wanting advice about marketing their work.”

More than 100 artists have successfully completed the scheme, which has been running for more than a decade, and have gone on to sell their work while working in galleries or teaching art.
