Body found on rail track

Monday 25th January 2010, 4:17PM GMT.

The body of a man has been found on a Midland railway track police confirmed today.

Trains operated by London Midland and Chiltern were cancelled and delayed, following the discovery of the body on the line near Netherend Lane bridge, Cradley.

The victim, who has not been formally identified but is aged in his 30s, was discovered yesterday around 3.23pm.

British Transport Police is investigating the death which is being treated as unexplained.
