Swoop nets 1.4m fake cigarettes

Almost 1.4 million fake cigarettes have been seized from the back of two vans in the Black Country, it emerged today.
Customs officers and police stopped the vehicles near Bilston as they travelled on the A463 towards the city, near Junction 10 of the M6 at Walsall.
The cigarettes were all branded Superkings.
Officers believe the cost to taxpayers is around £220,000.
Two men were arrested at the scene on Thursday and an investigation is ongoing.
