Teenager arrested over shooting

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the shooting of a youth the same age in the city.
The victim was today in a stable condition in hospital after being blasted in the arm at a house in Owen Road, Penn Fields, near to the Waitrose supermarket, at 10.30am yesterday.
Police arrested the teenager hours later in the Penn Fields area.
He was today helping police with their inquiries.
