West Midlands rent levels rise again

The average cost of renting accommodation in the West Midlands increased again last month, according to figures published today.
Monthly bills for accommodation in the region increased by 0.7 per cent to an average of £527 in October.
The latest Buy-to-Let Index shows the average UK rise was 0.4 per cent after increasing for the ninth consecutive month.
Only Yorkshire saw a fall in the cost of renting.
