McDonald’s creates 65 jobs in revamps
Tuesday 26th July 2011, 11:33AM BST.
Dozens of jobs will be created as three fast food branches in Sandwell are given revamps worth more than £700,000, including a 50-foot-high phone mast, after planning chiefs gave their approval.
A total of 65 jobs are being created with revamps at the McDonald’s drive-thru on Holyhead Road, opposite The Hawthorns, the McDonald’s branch on West Bromwich High Street, in Duchess Parade, and the Oldbury branch on Wolverhampton Road.
The Holyhead Road scheme will include a 60-seater patio area.
Both the Holyhead Road and West Bromwich High Street schemes are full redesigns, which will include longer opening hours. Fifty jobs will be created across the West Bromwich schemes. In Oldbury there will be 15 new roles.
