Jobs event in Rugeley
Thursday 19th May 2011, 12:00PM BST.
A jobs and training opportunities fair is taking place at a village in Rugeley next month.
The session at Armitage with Handsacre Village Hall, Shropshire Brook Rd, Armitage, on June 7 has been organised by the district council and other local agencies.
It follows a successful event in Fazeley in March which attracted 25 people. Councillor Colin Great-orex, cabinet member for organisational development and community, said: It’s aimed at anyone who is struggling to find a job or is looking for a new direction in life. We’ll have a varied selection of agencies who will be offering expert advice.”
Agencies represented include Lichfield District Council, Staffordshire County Council’s Apprenticeship Scheme and Job Bus.
