Organisers of a classic car show in Staffordshire are gearing up for a bumper event next week with more than 200 vehicles going on display.
Stafford Castle is the venue for the annual show on Sunday, August 7. Showgoers will be invited to vote for the best car in three sections: pre-Second World War, 1940s and 1950s and 1960s and 1970s.
The Mayor of Stafford, Councillor Stan Highfield will present the trophies on the day.
A number of local car clubs will be putting on club displays. The event, from 11am to 5pm, is being sponsored by Bank Top Garage from Gnosall.
There will be lots of activities for children to enjoy as well.
Members of Stafford Gatehouse Theatre’s summer school will also be taking part with Mr Toad from the production of the Adventures of Mr Toad trying out some of the vehicles on show.
Admission will be free although there will be a £2 charge for parking.
