Vauxhall Corsa set for a smiley facelift

Vauxhall’s popular Corsa will have a more ‘smiley’ face from February as part of its 2011 facelift.
The supermini’s fresh redesign features a more prominent wider lower grille designed to give it a more friendly look at the front.
And framing the car’s new ‘smile’ are ‘eagle eye’ headlights which recently made their debut on the Meriva range.
The Corsa is Vauxhall’s second best-selling model after the Astra and a near-permanent fixture in the UK’s top-three best sellers’ list.
Its new look sees it adopt many of the styling cues from other recently launched Griffin-badged cars, such as the Insignia, Astra and Meriva.

Vauxhall’s new optional Touch & Connect multi-media system makes its debut inside the new Corsa.
It features a five-inch touch screen display for satellite navigation, as well as a CD/tuner, iPod connectivity and Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity.
The Corsa’s new appearance will round off a series of upgrades to its chassis and engine range in order to boost performance, economy and ride quality.
The 1.3 Ecoflex diesel is now capable of a highly competitive 78.5mpg on the combined cycle.
The 2011 Corsa will also feature a host of new colours and trim styles, with prices starting at £9,995 (including VAT at 20 per cent).
The first facelifted cars arrive in February.
