Poll: Do you ask for directions when lost?
Tuesday 24th August 2010, 4:00PM BST.
We all know that men have a bad reputation when it comes to asking for directions and would rather get lost in a map than pull over and ask a stranger.
A report on the Telegraph website suggests that the average man drives 276 extra miles a year, wasting £2,000 of fuel, because they are lost and too proud to ask for directions.
A quarter of men will hold off asking for directions for half-an-hour before relenting, while one in 10 wouldn’t stop and ask at all.
So chaps, would you stop and ask for directions if you became lost? And how long would you wait?
And ladies, are you just as bad as the men when it comes to asking for help or will you happily pull over for some directions?
