The event will feature all that's good about food. There will be a MasterChef Experience, where people can see John and Gregg in action with a host of MasterChef faces.

There will also be a Supertheatre, which will feature a host of demonstrations and sessions from Michelin-starred cooks and other popular chefs.

Also making an appearance at the show will be Gino D'Acampo, Alain Roux, James Martin from Saturday Kitchen and Rachel Allen, who is famous for her traditional Irish cooking along with many others.

There will also be an opportunity for visitors to stock up on supplies by visiting a suppliers' village at the heart of the show, which will feature artisans from around the UK, including many from the Midlands.

It is also the perfect place to pick up some inspiration and unusual produce for festive dishes.

A spokesman for the show said: "People shouldn't miss the Producers' Village, a huge speciality food market at the heart of the Show, packed with small artisan producers who pride themselves in the quality and provenance of their produce.

"The Producers' Village is the perfect place for picking up ideas for great festive produce to help people create the finest Christmas dishes.

"The area includes pavilions dedicated to Slow Food UK where visitors will find producers of good, clean and fair food and drink, Henrietta Green's popular FoodLoversBritain.com Fair and selected quality producers from the Ludlow Food Festival.

"It's a great place to pick up unusual ingredients, speciality meats and cheeses and fresh fruit and vegetables to spice up one of your favourite recipes, or even try something new."

This year's BBC Good Food Show Winter will also feature the best cheeses from around the world. The 2011 World Cheese Awards will take place at the event and organisers are expecting a bumper entry.

The spokesman added: "We are delighted to be hosting the prestigious World Cheese Awards for the second year at BBC Good Food Show Winter 2011.The World Cheese Awards have been running for more than 20 years and is the largest cheese competition in the world.

Last year's event attracted more than 2,500 entries from 34 countries and was judged by over 200 expert buyers from every corner of the globe.

"More than 40 tonnes of cheese will be judged on Wednesday and visitors on this day will be able to find out which cheese will be declared World Champion when the judges deliver their verdict to the worlds press live from the British Theatre at the end of the day."
