Roadworks alert issued

A Midland town faces four months of “inevitable” disruption during roadworks to replace gas and water mains, officials warned today.
Severn Trent Water and National Grid today announced the scheme which will begin in January and run until May in Load Street and High Street, Bewdley. Among the water pipes to be replaced is one more than 100 years old. The work is divided into five phases.
