An Aladdin’s cave in the middle of Lichfield is proving a real gem after celebrating 25 years of trading.

Named after a rock song in the early 80s by sisters Christine and Julie Ashford, The Spellbound Bead Company, which is managed by the girls mother Pat, has customers from far and wide and a collection of morte than 3,000 beads from all around the world.

In the shop you’ll find just about every type of bead imaginable including: glass beads, beading books, findings, Delica beads, rocailles, metal beads, sterling silver, Nymo, Superlon, C-Lon macrame thread, Miyuki thread, Rattail, cotton thong, imitation suede lace, bead storage, wooden beads, tools, wire, in-house design kits including necklaces, tiaras, earrings, tiaras, Christmas decorations, needlecases and scissor keeps; Miyuki fan club kits and lots more.
