Milijas is learning Premier lessons

Wolves playmaker Nenad Milijas insists he has grasped the ugly side of being a Premier League midfielder and believes the team can topple Liverpool on Boxing Day.
Milijas’s form that has seen Wolves take nine points from the last 12 has been a key factor behind the team’s revival.
But it has taken a lot of hard work on the training ground and advice from manager Mick McCarthy to execute a transformation in the classy Serbian Player of the Year’s game to bring him to where he is now.
“It was difficult at first when I came here to get used to the other side of the game,” said Milijas.
“Every player must do so much running and the game is more physical with less fouls than it is in Europe.
“But I feel I’ve settled in now. The gaffer explained what I needed to do.
“It was always something I could learn, and I wanted to do whatever the gaffer needed me to do because I want to be in the team and help the club.”
Milijas looked a star in the making in pre-season, but he faded a little once the action started for real with the 100 mph pace of the game.
