Home blaze woman dies
Monday 21st December 2009, 11:30AM GMT.
A woman has died following a house fire in the Black Country, police said today.
Crews were called to a home in Wychbury Road, Wollescote, Stourbridge, just before 2pm on Friday.
Ambulance crews were called just after 1.45pm. A spokesman confirmed a woman, aged 51, was found dead inside the address.
The house has been taped off by police but the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Residents living nearby today said they were shocked by the news.
