For me it has to be when we won at Forest 1-0, as that was the moment I just knew we wasn’t gonna blow it and I finally believed we was going up.
Great win yesterday boys :) utw.

Good Time – The trip to Barnsley. Knowing for once we were actually there and we could relax and enjoy the day.
Bad Times – Realising half way to Barnsley that I had forgotten the tickets. :(

Being 12th in the premiership at christmas!!!!!
Doncaster at home seeing all the flags around the ground and lifting the championship trophy.Thank you Sir Mick

Away at Barnsley……….Yee Haa

Too hard. Getting on the pitch after QPR, Derby away, Barnsley away. Donny at home.
But Spurs away is the best away game I have ever been too. It was like Man U at home all over again!
I’d take half them moments again in 2010.
How about these other moments – Wigan away (first away win in top flight for 25 years) Sheffield Wednesday away or Southampton at home?
I’m with No 2 – Andy Keogh’s winner at Derby. I don’t get to see the team too often, but I was at Pride Park that day and coming back to win 3-2 after being 2-1 down was just brilliant.
I also managed to get to the last two home wins. Milijas looks pretty special to me and Doyle is absolute class.

Forest Away (great support that day and brilliant scenes in the Notts County bar before the game! “We shall not be moved” rings a bell!)
finally running on the pitch to celebrate promotion vs QPR, then drinking and celebrating afterwards- in 86 there was an invasion but the police stepped in before i could get on – then we had the fences – finally i got on – TWAS grat

For me has to be White Hart Lane,Travelled over from Malta managed to get 2 tickets outside ground,Goal 3 minutes then magnificent defending for 93 minutes,Supporters Superb Sang throughout Great day.

Forest Away (although I couldn’t make it to the Derby games which probably awesome!) Great support at Forst and brilliant sing song in that bar in Notts County’s ground before the game!! (“We shall not be moved!!”

Being a Wolves fan we have had so many great days, on the pitch V QPR, Barnsley, Doncaster, Derby, winning family club of the year.
Since the prem our two away wins, record shirt sponsorship, 12th at christmas. So many!

On the coach back from Derby …. drunk as a skunk!

Andy Keogh’s winner at Derby. In the end that was enough to win us he League. Working in Derby made it oh so sweet. Although a convincing win at Anfield on 26th Dec could be even better. Supa Mick, keep up the good work. 12th eh … we’re having a larf alright
Report abuse
Gotta be Derby away for me, it took away any lingering doubts.
Out of Darkness!!

2009 has been a great year to be a WWFC supporter, here’s hoping it continues into 2010!!
Above all the fantastic moments, the best for me has to be seeing SEB’s goal go in against QPR and feeling the anticipation and excitement build as we got close to full-time… seeing the fans congregating next to the hoardings knowing that as soon as the ref blew up, there would be a massive outpouring of celebration and people running onto the pitch. Standing in the centre circle on the hallowed Molineux turf, looking all around me at the thousands of people cheering, shouting and crying, it was the best day of my life so far… I am sure that if we can manage to stay up, the feeling of elation will be just as strong!
Well I missed Spurs so can’t say that 1, has to be Derby away for me very very very closely followed by Forest away.
Both games were excellent :)
Agree with some of the above, a big thank you to MM and the team, so many happy memories :)

Seeing the ball bulge in the back of the net, from Keogh’s header away at Derby.

among many great memories in winning the championship, getting kevin doyle signature on that contract has got to be a highlight. he has been quality for us this season!
As most people have stated, there were many great moments in 2009.
But to choose THE best moment, it has to be the clincher against QPR and especially the celebrations afterwards, both in the gound and in the bars!! What an atmosphere in the city that night. Got totally wrecked.
Second only to play-off final day v Sheff U in Cardiff.
Keep it coming!

Man Utd away last Tues! JOKE!
Being 12th in the Premiership at xmas, what a way to round of an excellent year for wolves!
For me spurs was a great win! But i was one of the first on at QPR an even managed to grab sammy vokes shirt! Unbelievable!!
I never got to be in the hype of the play-off final, so thats what i can only feel, but the anticipation waiting for that final whistle toblow with marlon harewood holding it up in the corner! Knowing that we had done it in our own back yard one of the best days in my life as a wolves fan!
Thanx mick for bringing the goodtimes back to our beloved club!
This had to be being a member of the fans who always supported the club, who never wavered in their loyalty, who always cheered and who kept the faith even in the ‘worrying’ times.
My best moment lasted the whole campaign..
has got to be easter monday away to derby amazing win, amazing atmosphere, days like that a few and far between !!
the whole year has just been magic! in the championship it was so thrilling week by week and then into the prem supporting our boys no matter wot. Andy Keoghs goal at Derby and i just knew then we were really going to do it, going to Barnsley in my friends camper van and being part of the whole experience, seeing belief in our team over the last few games, into 2010 and looking forward to the challenge!
Has to be Keogh’s double at Derby. That diving header was superb and with our rivals dropping points it got us to within touching distance of promotion.
And Donny on the final day. Nothing match but we finally got our hands on a trophy!
Have to agree with Keogh’s last mintue winner at Derby – that was the moment I knew we were going up! Want to say a big THANK YOU to Mick and the players for making 2009 the best year I’ve ever known in 19 years of watching the wolves. Ending the year 12th in the prem at Christmas is just a bonus!

Kevin Doyle topless on Sunday celebrating his excellent goal against Burnley, certainly warmed me up on a freezing cold afternoon!!

So many to pick from…
08/09…
Sheffield Wednesday away was when I started to believe we could actually do it. The endless chants of We Shall Not Be Moved at the end of the game was something really special.
Keogh’s winner at Derby provided reassurance that we weren’t going to mess up at the last moment.
QPR was fantastic – although being in the Billy Wright upper meant that I couldn’t get on the pitch.
Then finally Donny at home with all the flags, the feel good factor and the goosebumps when Henry and Craddock raised the trophy.
09/10…
Wigan away, not a great performance and some real nerve racking moments, but finally getting the elusive Premiership win was special.
Fulham home, playing a decent team off the park and getting the win.
Bolton for the look on Megson’s face at the final whistle.
…and finally Spurs away, which I think is my greatest moment of 2009 alongside being 12th at Christmas.
Lets keep this momentum going lads!

The lifting of the trophy ,The flags , Not caring what the result was .. What a day – thanks Merlin the Magician !!

Derby away! For me to be able to say ‘I was there!’ brings back the emotion of the day.
Saying that the next few games weren’t too bad either! :)But then again, the trip to White Hart Lane wasn’t far away from those…. Help, I can’t make my mind up!
Here’s hopi2010 could be better?
Sheff Utd 1 Wolves 3, absolutely brilliant performance, three fantastic goals, and despite the attempts to bully our youngsters, the team spirit and will to win shone through. After singing “its just like Cardiff again” all the second half, I knew promotion was on at the end of this match.
Just because no body has said it yet I would go for Wigan away, great support and an away win in the Prem, wiped away the memories of being so close at Bolton last time and blowing it.

When i heard we had signed doyle

Number 37 – Your best moment of 2009 came in 2008………
Report abuse
37 – Agreed a great moment, unfortunately it was 2008 ;-)
derby away, no shadow of a doubt. that was when we knew we were going up. FANTASTIC
Report abuse
QPR at home when Ebanks-Blake scored that goal. The whole stadium went mad! Then at full-time when we all ran on the pitch. Best day ever
Report abuse
The aftermath of the QPR game; the trip to Barnsley; and the riotous party in the Moon Under The Water the night we lifted the Championship trophy- in each case, I was severely ‘tired and emotional/under the influence’, but that’ll never cloud the memories…
Report abuse
The day before the QPR game, I saw MM at Oxley Park Golf club, I was in a bunker on the 15th as MM and friends came down the 12th, I asked MM for 3 points and promotion the next day, MM said to keep the faith ( and keep my head down and hit throu the ball ).
We later saw MM in the bar and had a good chat with him, right then I knew we were going to pull it off, cheers MM !
PS I got down in two from the bunker, so MM is even a good golf coach !

Lifting that famous 120 year old trophy at the end of the Doncaster game. I’d waited 20 years since our 3rd Div championship season in 1989 to see us make the final step up the proper way! And to think Billy Wright held that very same trophy aloft 40 years earlier in 1959 (when it was the ‘real’ championship) made it even more poignant.

I’ve got a few crackers!
1) Spurs away this year. What a performance and result. Possibly the proudest I’ve been as a wolves fan (Given I’m only 24!)
2) “Wolves are back in the Premier League” – Jeff Stelling 18th April 2009 approx 16.50 p.m :-)
3) Donny at Home last game, all the flags, Championship trophy lifted.
4) Derby Away. Given that i live in Derby, this was important for me as I live with a Derby fan. But the best bit about this was Andy keogh’s two goals. He ran his socks off that day and deserved those goals. Plus, being sat in the Marstons corner stand with a shed load of Derby fans and celebrating like we had won the champions league, as after that result, i Believed we had promotion in the bag!
5)(I know this is techinically 2008, but it was a great moment :-)) Sheffield United away, November 25th 2008. It was bloody Baltic in sheffield this night, i had a pie related accident prior to the match kicking off which meant i had burnt my face and then Big Chris scored within 5 minutes. Cracking start, followed by the most uncomfortable 40 minutes ever. Sheff Utd battered us all over the shop but didnt score. Then, it was like Mick had said “Right lads, you’ve given them a chance…Put ‘em to the sword for me will ya?” And we produced one of the best 45 minutes i watched last season to win the game 3-1. Banging Result :-)
6) Sheffield Wednesday Away. Firstly, acheived a lifelong goal of going to Hillsbrough and paying my respects. Secondly, we had just just beaten Palace to end a bad run, we scored in the first 5 minutes and NEVER looked in danger. For me this was significant because it showed we could win pretty AND win ugly.
7) Forest Away. Lovely Spring sunshine, 6000 travelling Wolves fans, Billy Davies playing a 5-5 formation and trying to Block us out and we STILL win 1-0. Cracking day out and Kights celebrating with the fans and going BALISTIC when he scored – Awesome :-)
Long winded i know, But 2009 has been an AWESOME year to be a Wolves fan.
May 2010 be the same :-D

Promotion to the prem and it looks as tho we r goin 2 stay their. 2 welcome new commers the baggies now wuddent it b bostin

The day we lifted the Championship trophy is well up there, but for me, it was the effort the team put in on Sunday against Burnley. Keep doing it for Mighty Mick boys – he deserves it.
1- Forest away, Kights hit a bloke smack on the head with a wayward shot during the warm up. After the game he went into the crowd to find him and check he was OK then gave him his shirt.
2- The Southbank singing Stephen Ward’s name at the Bolton game. The lad gives absolutely everything for the team and epitomises everything that a player should be.
3- Everything else! What a year!!!!

1. Derby Away, absolutely immense.
2. QPR, absolutely magnificent day, best day of my life for sure.
3. Has to be Tottenham away, absolutely fantastic.
