Budget airline Ryanair has unveiled a new route from Birmingham to Ibiza starting in March.

The flights will operate three times a week, and it brings the total number of routes run by the Irish airline out of Birmingham to 30, including services to Faro, Ibiza, Biarritz, Barcelona, Girona, Dublin, Pisa, Prague, Shannon and Grenoble.

Since starting at Birmingham in 1993, Ryanair has carried more than six million people to and from the West Midlands.
