WD3488916@stolen car (emailA car plastered in promotions for a Stourbridge sports bar has been stolen from outside the landlord’s home.

Wayne Etheridge’s Mazda 6, which is covered in logos for his Oldswinford pub, The Cross Sports Bar, was taken from the driveway at his home in Studley Gate, Stourbridge.

Two thieves took the vehicle during the early hours of Sunday and were filmed by Mr Ether-idge’s home CCTV system.

He said: “Everyone knows it around Stourbridge because it has got The Cross Sports Bar logos and Sky Sports logos all over it. It is going to be very hard to sell on a car like that on without it being recognised.”

The car was parked on Mr Etheridge’s driveway when two men with a dog approached at around 4am and broke in before driving off.

Mr Etheridge added: “I didn’t know anything about it until I woke up to find the car gone. I checked the CCTV system and you can see these two men with a dog getting into it.

“If someone is driving it around it is bound to be noticed.”

West Midlands Police said they were looking at the CCTV footage from Mr Etheridge’s home.

The black car has The Cross Sports Bar written on the bonnet in white lettering and on the side in gold lettering along with the Sky Sports logo and various flags.
