“Birmingham fans will love Johno and this is a perfect start to our team building. We’ve got more signings lined up.”

Club owner Gary Patchett is delighted with the start made to team building plans for next season.

He said: “In Jason we have a fantastic captain with legendary status at the club and Johno is a very good rider as well as being great for team spirit.

“I expect them to be challenging each other for top spot in our team.”
