Walsall boss Chris Hutchings has vowed to pick a full strength side to avoid an FA Cup first round upset at Stourbridge.

The Saddlers head to the War Memorial Ground tomorrow (1pm) for the tie with all eyes on the Glassboys’ potential to cause a shock.

But Hutchings isn’t tempted to make wholesale changes despite their opponents being four rungs below in the Southern League Premier Division.

He said: “We’re taking them very seriously, so we won’t be swapping and changing. We want to win. There’s no complacency from our point of view.

“Everyone is in our thoughts because we have a squad of players so we shall see who plays. It’s a big game.

“We’ve done our homework on them and no doubt they’ve been doing some homework on us.”

The Saddlers have watched the Glassboys while their opponents scouted them in their 3-2 win at Wycombe on Saturday.

Hutchings believes they have all the information they need to ensure they’re not surprised by their hosts.

He said: “We’ve done our homework and I’m sure if you ask Paul Lambert at Norwich he would have done his homework on their game at Paulton.

“We’ll treat them with the utmost respect, as if we’re playing a league game. They deserve that but we know they have strengths and weaknesses, so we have to try and exploit them.”

But Hutchings has dismissed any notions that the Glassboys could have the edge at the three-sided War Memorial Ground.

He said: “It doesn’t matter where you play, you can go to league clubs and fans can be right on top of you with a hostile atmosphere.

“It’s something we have to look forward to but we know what’s in front of us. We’ve got to make sure we’re professional in every aspect.

“Everyone has to win the battles, whoever you play. If you win enough individual battles out of the 11 you normally win the game.”

Hutchings is without the injured Richard Taundry and Jamie Vincent and has been refused permission by Hull to include on-loan keeper Mark Oxley but could welcome back Sam Parkin.

The manager added: “It’s good for their supporters and our fans because it’s a derby. We are looking forward to the game.”
