Thursday 5th November 2009, 10:15AM GMT.

A crash between a bus and a car in Bloxwich left four people in hospital.

Two bus passengers were hurt in the accident in Walker Road, while both occupants of the car were carried on spinal boards to hospital.

Four ambulances were sent to the scene of the smash at around 3pm yesterday. The driver, a man believed to be in his 20s and the passenger, a 19-year-old man, were taken to Walsall Manor Hospital.

A Mercedes also collided with a lorry at a busy Black Country motorway junction, sparking delays for drivers yesterday.

One lane of the roundabout at junction 10 of the M6 had to be closed for an hour and a half following the accident, causing tailbacks for motorists from Walsall and Wolverhampton.

No-one was injured in the accident, which happened at around 3pm yesterday.
