Bad weather on way

Heavy rain and wintry gales are on their way in the West Midlands, ending the balmy temperatures of one of the best Octobers on record.
Autumn storms are set to arrive this weekend, with forecasters today warning of unsettled weather from Sunday onwards. Temperatures of up to 17C (60F) today and tomorrow will drop to around 13C (55F) by Sunday.
Met Office spokeswoman Helen Chivers said: “On Sunday, wintery conditions will have arrived.”
