What can I say? The Top are in a class of their own, the coolest rockers in the world bar none. I came down from Bolton with a couple of mates and it was the best gig I’ve been to in years. Our so called restricted view seats turned out to be the best seats in the house, just above the stage> I think the band could hear our wailing cause they kept giving us the nod, which was great!

It was an awesome gig, absolutely brilliant! The atmosphere was amazing, everyone really enjoyed it. ‘Eliminator’ was the first rock album I ever owned so it was a real trip down memory lane for me! Nearly two hours of top class entertainment, what more could you ask? :0)Great night, great band, great venue!

I think i am going to change my religion and become hindu , that way I can come back billy gibbons……..they really were out of this world, how can 2 guitar players and a drummer make such a great sound. Most guitar players who play like billy move all over the place doing a white mans over bite etc etc, Billy just stands still and lets his hand do the rest , sometimes you have to look twice as can easily think he is not playing a such great guitar riff. I could go on and on, just as I could go and see them every week for the next 10 years !!!

Loved the gig, waited over 20 years to see them and brought my 11 year old son along too.
Billy can play like no one else.

Last time I saw the beards was back in 1983 at Donington when I was just 16 and ever since then I longed for them to play a smaller venue …..
26 years was well worth the wait.

This was a rare opportunity to see these blues legends in such intimate settings and was my first visit to the WCH. I would certainly travel down from Manchester again, so much better than all of the sterile, oversized, overpriced arenas where the views and sound quality are decidely dodgy.

Well done Gibbons, Hill & Beard for playing a proper music venue – you are ‘The The Tops’.

Came down on the train from Scotland, fantastic gig well worth the journey. The Top are so cool it hurts!! They played just shy of 2 hours and the time just flew. Good venue too, and the beer’s not half bad either! Thank you Wolverhampton!!
