Boxing’s Calzaghe in date at sport bar

Boxing champion Joe Calzaghe is to be the special guest at a Cannock sports bar next year.
The undefeated light-heavyweight world champion will appear at Bar Sport in February on a date yet to be fixed.
Scott Murray, owner of Bar Sport, based in High Green, has been in talks with Calzaghe’s agent and is working towards a date in February.
Mr Murray wants to arrange a special boxing evening where Calzaghe – who was kicked off Strictly two weeks ago – will meet and greet fans.
Richie Woodhall, the former WBA Super Middleweight Champion, will also be a guest on the night.
Mr Murray, said: “It will be fantastic to bring him here.”
