MANUNITED V WOLVES 8 GD 23Wolves full-back Kevin Foley is set for another spell on the sidelines after injuring his medial knee ligaments.

The 24-year-old Player of the Year suffered the blow in training this week, after being excluded from the squad for Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Everton.

The extent of Foley’s injury isn’t clear at present, but his place at right-back is again expected to be taken by Ronald Zubar, who will face Ashley Young on his home debut against Villa.

Manager Mick McCarthy said: “Kev’s opened up his medial knee ligament up again – he did it again blocking a shot this week.”

Wolves are likely to again be without Michael Mancienne. The on-loan Chelsea defender is still suffering the virus he contracted on England under-21 duty.
