Celebrity chef James Martin today praised a new £24 million food court at Dudley’s Merry Hill centre.

The TV chef joined hundreds of shoppers at the centre for the unveiling of Eat Central.

Chef James said he was impressed by the number and variety of places to eat.

“There looks to be something for every taste,” he said. Tim Sunter, chairman of Brierley Hill Town Centre Partnership, praised centre owners Westfield for the development, which has created 200 jobs.
