‘Mafia’ written on cars
Friday 16th October 2009, 11:14AM BST.
The word ‘mafia’ has been scratched into car paintwork in Kidderminster in a vandalism spree targeting six vehicles.
The vandals damaged cars on the Waterside Grange development, off Horsefair, over two evenings.
Pc Sarah Bottom, who is investigating, said: “The writing is particularly distinctive and if anyone thinks they recognise it we would ask them to call us as soon as possible.”
A red Fiat Picanto and a dark blue Renault Laguna were both hit with the mafia etchings, along with at least four other cars which were scratched on September 16 and 17.
Witnesses are urged to call police on 0300 333 3000.
