Surman ready for Everton return
Friday 9th October 2009, 9:23AM BST.
Wolves midfielder Andrew Surman has joined Michael Kightly, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Chris Iwelumo by declaring himself ready for action next week at Everton.
The £1.2million former Southampton schemer sailed through a 90-minute comeback in the 1-1 reserves’ draw at Villa on Wednesday after recovering from a jarred knee.
Now the 23-year-old feels he is ready to push his claims, after just 36 minutes’ Premier League action this season over two games.
He said: “The knee felt fine – I got no reaction from it during the game, so hopefully it should be alright now.”
