Striker Will Grigg and midfielder Sam Adkins have watched fellow first-year professional Darryl Westlake star in the first team after ousting senior right-back Rhys Weston.
But assistant boss O’Connor says any loan move for the duo has to be right. He said: “If they are going to go out it’ll be one at a time and it’ll be to a decent level where they’re going to improve.
“We’ve got aim high for them. We think they’re good players and we want them local so we can keep an eye on them.”

If Grigg is a good player why is Parkin (who is not a good player) being picked ahead of him?

Totally shocked by this story. I presumed it was about us bringing in loan players to patch up the very poor sqaud building by Hutchings. I can’t believe we’re seriously considering sending Grigg out on loan when Parkin plays so poorly yet still gets in the squad.
I do wonder sometimes……
