Asbo for abusive teenager

Saturday 26th September 2009, 2:55AM BST.

A teenager has been banned from entering an estate where he terrorised residents for five years.

Reece Evans, aged 17, has been hit with an anti-social behaviour order to prevent him from going onto the Harvills Hawthorn estate in Hill Top, West Bromwich.

It was claimed he was violent and abusive towards people living on the estate and causing damage to homes.

Evans, of St Mark’s Road in Tipton, did not oppose the order at West Bromwich magistrates’ court which will be in place for three years and also bans him from attempting to intimidate or harass a couple in St Vincent Crescent.

District judge Michael Wheeler placed an amendment on the order allowing Evans to enter Harvills Hawthorn on Sundays to visit his grandparents in St Vincent Crescent.
