Attack blinds young runner

A teenage athlete has been blinded in one eye after he was attacked by robbers who punched him and fled with a mobile phone.
The boy, aged 15, has been forced to give up the sport after losing the sight in in his right eye.
Police today released details of the attack which happened in New John Street, Halesowen, on September 1 at about 10pm.
