Songster Connie to appear for hospice

Midland singing sensation Connie Talbot is set to wow the crowds at Walsall Hospice’s inaugural Starlight Walk, it has been announced.

The eight-year-old superstar, who found fame on hit ITV show Britain’s Got Talent, will perform at the event’s official launch on Friday and again at the walk on Friday evening.

She will become Walsall Hospice’s youngest ambassador.

Joined by mother Sharon, father Gavin, brother Josh and sister Molly, Connie will then take on the 5k stroll around Walsall Arboretum’s picturesque lake.

More than 500 people have now signed up for the event, which aims to raise vital funds to equip and staff Walsall’s first adult hospice.
