Trio World Cup worthy for Petrov

heskey1.jpegEngland’s Villa trio Emile Heskey, Ashley Young and James Milner are all good enough to go to the World Cup – according to club skipper Stiliyan Petrov.

The claret and blues threesome were all included in Fabio Capello’s squad for the games with Slovenia and Croatia – although there was no place for Gabby Agbonlahor despite the striker starring in yesterday’s 2-0 win over Fulham.

Petrov believes all four are worthy of a place on the plane for South Africa.

He said: “They would be ready for the World Cup if they are picked.  They are exciting players and they deserve to be there.”
