Multiple accidents on region’s roads

Three motorcyclists suffered serious injuries and a driver escaped with his life after a weekend of crashes on the region’s roads.

Three riders were airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital after two crashes on the A458 Stourbridge Road in Stanmore, Bridgnorth.

A man in his 40s was fighting for his life today after his bike crashed into a car at 11.50am yesterday. The woman car driver was treated for shock.

Two men, a rider aged in his late 20s and his pillion passenger in his 40s,  suffered serious leg injuries after crashing into a 4X4 on the A458 on Saturday afternoon.

And a driver escaped after his car fell 50ft from a flyover on the M42 near the NEC at around 8.10pm yesterday.
