Cycle injury man stable

Tuesday 25th August 2009, 10:31AM BST.

A cyclist who suffered life threatening injuries when he came off his bike near Belbroughton is today said to be in a stable condition in hospital.

The man, aged 23, was riding along Drayton Grove, Drayton, when the accident happened.

He was airlifted to Birmingham’s Selly Oak Hospital on Friday afternoon about 4.20pm.

Today West Mercia Police spokeswoman Julia Jones said he was now in a stable condition.
