Time to map out a plan for Villa's future

We will be ready warns Foley
Tuesday 28th July 2009, 11:46AM BST.
Wolves’ Player of the Year Kevin Foley insists his team-mates will be ready for the Premier League despite recent pre-season form.
Mick McCarthy’s Championship title winners have followed wins against Perth Glory, North Queensland Fury and Walsall with defeats against Port Vale and Bristol City, as they prepare to face another lower division side MK Dons tonight.
Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Ashton Gate was a more lacklustre showing.
But Foley reckons there’s no reason to panic.
He said: “It was a tough game for us, but we’re adapting with new players in and it’s all about getting your sharpness back.
“We’ve got a bit more time before the start of the season than Bristol City, so I’m sure our sharpness will come with more games. I’m confident we’ll be ready.
“Bristol City are a good Championship team and we stepped our fitness up. The result was disappointing but that wasn’t the be-all and end-all.
“We have to take it as another 45, 70 or 90 minutes on the board towards the game against West Ham.”
