It was fun and frills at Birmingham’s Bullring as dancers took place in a mass can-can dance to welcome in the summer.
Visitors were treated to an array of performances as the Bullring brought a touch of cosmopolitan chic to the country’s second city.
The can-can dancers strutted their stuff beneath a 12ft tall Eiffel Tower to launch the summer fashion season. The shopping centre is taking inspiration from Paris, Madrid and New York for a series of themed events over the next three weeks.
The professional dancers took to the stage in St Martin’s Square before teaching the public the right moves and encouraging them to take part.
Tim Walley, general manager of Bullring, said: “This summer we wanted to bring the cosmopolitan feel and style of these three fast-paced cities to Bullring.
“All three cities are famed for their individual style, New York for its fresh and edgy look, Paris for sophistication chic and Madrid for its fiery fashion, so it’s great for keeping Bullring at the forefront of style.”
