Kim back home after Bluewings move
Tuesday 28th July 2009, 10:56AM BST.
Albion have sold midfielder Kim Do-Heon back to South Korea after he joined Suwon Bluewings for £360,000.
The 27-year-old has completed the move back to his homeland and his first club, after 19 months in English football at the Hawthorns.
Kim arrived in January 2008 on loan from Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma – the second club of his career – after a successful trial period.
He then completed a £500,000 permanent move last summer, after the highlight of scoring his first goal in the 2-0 win at QPR on the final day that secured the Baggies the Championship title.
The South Korea international went on to make 15 appearances during the Premier League season.

Nice player with good skill – but just too lightweight for the prem – and probably the CCC as well. Another TM buy is moved out…. new brooms at work !

I didn’t see this coming. Him and Greening off, if Koren gets injured we are in deep trouble.

He wasn`t the worst player I`ve ever seen but he never really got a chance. Another one Mowbray signed then ignored, ie Macdonald, Moore, Czech and bednar (when in prem).
If RDM has seen enough to say `no thanks`then thats good enough for me. We needed to trim the midfield, as it is we have 7 who I would quite happily see start any given week.
We`ve got our money back basically so no harm done.

he was a little battler but never cemented his place. shame.

Never lived up to his you-tube endeavours.

With the squad to be trimmed, I think it was inevitable that Kim or Teixeira was going to leave. The latter seems to have stepped up to the plate in recent weeks. Kim, for all his technical ability, was never physically up to English football. Good luck to him.
£1m for Kim and Sherj, not a bad return

My memory of Kim will sadly be the way he was totally overrun in our 4-1 home defeat by Lecester last spring. He looked like a little boy lost. Another player who simply wasn’t good enough.
