Driver dies in collision

A driver was killed and two people injured in a collision near Wolverhampton.
The Vauxhall Astra and a Mitsubishi FTO Mivec crashed on the A454 Bridgnorth to Wolverhampton road in Claverley at around 9pm on Saturday.
The 37-year-old Astra driver was confirmed dead at the scene by paramedics. A man and a woman, both in their 40s, went to New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton.
A three-car crash in Cannock this morning saw a woman airlifted to hospital and the A460 closed off.
