Tribute nights and smooth music is returning to Wolverhampton Racecourse after the summer break.
Tickets are on sale to see West Midlands band Soul Survivors entertain the crowds at the venue on September 5.
The band, which include singer Glen Leon and saxophonist Keith Evans, will play after racing. The concert is open to racegoers who book entertainment tickets.
Racecourse bosses say entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings after racing has proved very popular.
Amanda Thomas, marketing and entertainment manager, said: “We try to include a variety of music and in September alone we have two soul nights, an Eagles tribute and an Abba tribute. We hope that race goers will choose to stay for the entertainment after racing.”
First race times have also been brought forward to accommodate extra races for some meetings this year, and on September 5 there are eight races with the first one due off at 5.50pm. After-race entertainment starts at 9.20pm, with the Soul Survivors on stage at 10pm.
