Takeaway plan fears

Thursday 2nd July 2009, 10:34AM BST.

Plans for a hot food takeaway at Stourport would lead to a nuisance from cooking smells and waste, residents have claimed.

They also fear that vermin could be attracted by litter from the takeaway proposed for an empty shop unit at Lower Lickhill Road.

Thirty one letters of objection have been sent to Wyre Forest District Council. A report to the committee, due to meet on Tuesday, says the applicant has failed to supply sufficient information about odour emissions.
