M6 shut by crash

One side of the M6 was closed by a crash earlier today, leaving an elderly couple in hospital and causing chaos for commuters.
The accident involving a lorry and two cars happened just after 6.15am and forced the entire northbound carriageway between junctions 4 and 5 at Coleshill to close until around 11.30am.
A Renault Megane overturned and an 80-year-old woman in the car suffered serious head and arm injuries.
