Brummie heroes back at Perry Barr
Wednesday 1st July 2009, 6:13AM BST.
Birmingham will welcome back their weekend heroes ahead of their biggest match of the season against Stoke at Perry Barr.
Skipper Jason Lyons and Tomasz Piszcz brought major silverware to the club with their sensational victory in the Premier League Pairs at Somerset last Friday.
Also assured of a massive reception is Swedish teenager Ludvig Lindgren, whose qualification for the World under-21 Final makes him Birmingham’s first World Finalist since 1983.
The meeting itself promises to be a thriller, with Stoke’s fine run of home results seeing them in second place in the Premier League table, with the fourth-placed Brummies looking to overtake them.
Birmingham: James Cockle, Manuel Hauzinger, Robert Ksiezak, Ludvig Lindgren, Jason Lyons, Tomasz Piszcz, Richard Sweetman.
Stoke: Jason Bunyan, Lee Complin, Klaus Jakobsen, Jesper Kristiansen, Tom P Madsen, Phil Morris, Lee Smart.
