Baby falls from balcony

An 18-month old boy has been taken to hospital after falling from a balcony at a home in Tipton.
Samuel Medley fell from the first floor flat in Hickman Road at about 8pm yesterday. He was in intensive care in Birmingham Children’s Hospital today with skull fractures and a suspected collapsed lung.
Samuel’s mother Kelly Harris, aged 21, said: “In a split second he was there and then the next I heard the screams from people outside saying he was on the floor.”
