A teenager was stabbed with a penknife following an argument at a Walsall school, it emerged today.
The 14-year-old was slashed across the leg at Blue Coat Church of England Comprehensive School.
The pupil was taken to hospital with minor injuries and was allowed home following the playground incident just after midday yesterday.
Police were called to the school in Birmingham Street and a 14-year-old was arrested on suspicion of wounding.
He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries and was not at school today.
