Comedy star Ball pulls out of show

A charity church show in South Staffordshire has been cancelled after guest star comedian Bobby Ball announced he would not be performing.
The star – one half of comic duo Cannon & Ball – had been due to perform at the Lakeside Community Church in Perton.
Organisers sold dozens of tickets for the July 11 show, in which the comedian – a regular performer at Wolverhampton’s Grand Theatre – was due to talk about his career and conversion to Christianity.
Full refunds for tickets will be given. An alternative date in October has been offered by Mr Ball.
