Acting chief up for top job

Staffordshire’s acting Chief Constable is in the running for the top job with the North Wales force, it was revealed today.

Adrian Lee has been heading the county force since Chief Constable Chris Sims moved to the West Midlands force at the start of this month.

It is understood Mr Lee, who is currently out of the country, has been shortlisted to succeed controversial speed camera obsessed Richard Brunstrom who is leaving North Wales Police next month.
