Wolverhampton moved up to second in the Premier Division after a two-wicket win over Kidderminster.

Sairaj Bahatule was man of the match for the Danescourt men, taking 5-41 to restrict Victoria to 177-8 before hitting an unbeaten 44 to steer his side home.

Richard Howitt also struck 44, with Worcestershire paceman Imran Arif bagging 4-44 for the visitors.

Youth triumphed as Himley cemented third spot with a six-wicket victory at Moseley.

Huw Jones with 43 and Usman Shabir with 40 helped Moseley to 192-8, but youngsters Nitesh Patel with 48 and Michael Hill with 41 not out showed plenty of maturity.

They steered Himley to victory with nine balls to spare. Captain Greg Wright hit 35.

Champions Walsall made it back-to-back wins with an eight-wicket success against Leamington Spa.

Warwickshire seamer Andy Miller claimed 4-24 and Jack Shantry 4-25, as Leamington were dismissed for 109.

Andy Gray with 41 and Tim Maxfield with 59 scored the runs, as Walsall eased to victory and up to fifth in the table.

Old Hill and Smethwick closed the gap on leaders Stratford-on-Avon at the top of division one.

Second-placed Smethwick are just three points behind, after beating Berkswell by two wickets.

Old Hill are third after beating Dorridge by four wickets. Daud Islam took 5-20, as Dorridge were restricted to 217-9.

In reply, Cameron Fox with 77 and Nathan Round with 37 led Old Hill home.

Halesowen beat West Bromwich Dartmouth by six wickets.

Dartmouth’s Naheem Sajjad top-scored with 48 in Dartmouth’s 128.

Opener Mohammed  Ishtiaq steered Halesowen to victory with 69.

In-form Wombourne climbed to second place in division two, with the Quiney brothers taking centre stage.

Karl scored 65 in their total of 306 and then Dale claimed 7-17, as they beat Old Elizabethans by 174 runs.

Penn beat Cannock by one wicket. Skipper Richard Bradford struck an unbeaten 74 to see Penn home.

Fordhouses recorded an impressive four-wicket success against Olton & W.W.
