Good news for the squad, defender needed pretty soon though please?
Does this mean the end of Iwelumo or Keogh?
Squad has to be better in quality so good signing if it comes off.

1) Why would it mean the end of this pair? Either can make an impact off the bench alongwith Vokes!
Will be a good signing alongwith the other two – work permit providing.
Centre half is a must with another midfielder and a full back.

The only reason Reading tailed off last season was the injuries to Kevin Doyle. If he is fully fit for next season £6.5 million is dirt cheap for a striker who has already proven his quality in the Premiership for Reading. He should feel at home in the Wolves squad with all the Irish players we already have and the ex-Irish manager. I’m all for it. Definitely right signing at right price.

what a great signing he would be..proven record in the premier league,he and Ebanks-Blake woudnt give premier league defenders a moments rest, both clinical finishers.Along with big target man Iwelumo and the duracell powered Keogh…looking good for the new season back in the big time now!

Do we think Ebanks Blake and Doyle would be a good pairing?

Doyle,Blake and Co would also take pressure off the defence……..more activity up front.
It would be a sound move.

Love to have him but he aint signed yet. I hope his presence at Compton was not a PR exercise by his agent to alert the Toffees.

maybe doyle would be a great signing but we badly need a good defender just hope his signing if it comes off doesnt mean the end of the road for kids like vokes who i think as great potential and i think could be a big hit in the premiership if given a good run hes fast and as shown he as clever touches for a big lad .

Lets wait and see if we get him. he does have the right spec – he has scored regularly in the premiership – so I suppose birmingham and celtic and some other plonker will come in at the last moment and double his wages.
he’s a good playmaker and works hard and we would have a very impressive strike force with him. We certainly need to score goals so we can’t have too many quality forwards.Fingers crossed.
