Defour claim of Premier League bid

Villa target Steven Defour claims Standard Liege have rejected a bid for him – believed to have been from Everton.
The 21-year-old Belgium star has been tracked by Villa and the Toffees for some time with Defour revealing Liege have knocked back an offer, widely thought to have arrived from Goodison Park.
He said: “How high was the bid? I do not know, you would need to ask (Liege vice-president) Luciano D’Onofrio.
“I would be ready to move abroad. The transfer will come when all parties are happy.”
